This is really a personal preference. In our expert opinion, if the font you selected is all one size (Block, Thick Script, Formal Script), first/middle/last looks great. If the font allows for the middle character to be larger than the rest (Diamond Block), then first/last/middle is the way to go. Please note, you can always write notes in the special instructions if you have a specific call out.
Your bag will ship within 30 business days from the date your order is placed. Please note, the shipping method selected upon check out does not expedite the production of your order, but rather the speed of shipment. If you need to rush the customization process, please see below. Additional fees apply to rush the production of your order.
If you need your order in less than 30 business days, you may request a rush order. Rush orders incur a $50 fee and are accepted based on our ability to deliver against your requested timeline. In the rare event that your bag does not ship out on time, you will have the option to accept your order late or cancel your order. If you choose to accept your item, a 15% discount of the original purchase price will be credited to you. If you choose to cancel your order, we will issue you a full refund.
All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Depending on your shipping selection at check out, your order will take approximately 1-4 business days to arrive via USPS Priority Mail, providing there are no unforeseen delivery delays. Once a label has been created for your package, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email with tracking information included. If you have any additional questions, please reply to the shipping confirmation, and we will be happy to assist you.
After an item is picked up by a shipping provider, we are no longer able to provide tracking updates or be held responsible for the item, as it is no longer in our possession. We cannot account for any delays on behalf of the shipping provider or method (influx of packages, inclement weather, mis-deliveries, etc.). If you are having an issue with tracking updates or missing packages, you must contact the shipping provider directly to inquire as to the whereabouts of your package. Island to East Side is not liable for unforeseen issues such as missing, lost, or stolen packages.
Yes, we do ship internationally! Please note, we are not responsible for the payment of any duties, taxes, or other fees associated with international shipments. If you refuse a shipment from Island to East Side, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any import fees that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Island to East Side.

Due to the custom nature of our products, all orders are final sale and cannot be returned or cancelled.
Final sale means items cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason. Island to East Side reserves the right to enforce this policy with no exceptions.
In the event that there is an error on your bag, please email us with your order number and a photo for our reference. If this was our mistake, we will remake your bag free of charge!
We cannot accommodate any changes on remake orders. If your item is damaged or incorrect we will send you a return label for the original item and process a remake order with the details from your original order. We will not be able to change style, colors, design, or text on remake orders, unless it is to correct an error.
Images do not represent the exact likeness of the item in production; the color, font, and/or design of the final product may slightly vary from what you see in photos. We will do our best to perfect your creations in the sewing and beading process, however our products are handmade and subject to slight variations. Any subtle inconsistencies are natural characteristics of your unique piece and should not be considered defects. While we do not accept returns on any custom orders, we want you to love your item! Discounts can be applied to your order during checkout using any valid and active discount code. Promo codes are only valid on specific items, as advertised, and for set periods of time.
We cannot retroactively apply a discount code to an existing order or an order that was recently placed. Unfortunately, we cannot add a promo code to an order even if the code is still active. The only way to take advantage of a promo code is to have it entered in your cart at the time of checkout on our website.
No, please carefully check the regulations of the code for specifications regarding exclusions. Discount codes cannot be combined and they do not apply to Gift Cards, unless otherwise stated. Promo codes do not apply to bridal party and/or bulk orders.

We do not encourage payment plans as they can delay the delivery of your items. However, we understand that planning a major event can be overwhelming! Please inquire within if you would like to leave a deposit and pay for your bulk order in installments.
Yes! We require a minimum purchase of 6 pieces to qualify for our bulk order discounts and bridal party packages. All 6 pieces must be the same style and color, however alternate personalization is permitted (i.e. name, initials, etc.).
All bulk orders within the US incur a $50 shipping and handling fee.
Please handle your bag gently and store it in a cool, dry place. Due to the delicate nature of our products, you must treat them with extreme care. Island to East Side is not liable for damages associated with natural wear and tear.
Spot treat the stain with a slightly damp cloth, using warm water and soap. Use gentle circular movements on and around the area to lift the stain. Should this method fail, please consult a professional cleaner.
If your Island to East Side item needs to be repaired for any reason, please reach out to us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and photo of the requested repair. All repair requests are evaluated by our customer service team and accepted/denied on a case by case basis. If your claim is made within 90 days of purchase, we will repair your item free of charge. If the 90 day window has expired, your repair will be subject to a fee. We reserve the right to deny any unreasonable repair requests.
